After graduating from Union College in 2019, Amy spent nine months living in Ddegeya and volunteering with Engeye as a Union College Minerva Fellow. During her fellowship, Amy worked closely with the Engeye Artisans, instituted a computer skills workshop for our Scholars, and loved spending time with the kids and staff members. Amy joined the Scholars Committee and the Fundraising and Communications Committee after returning to the United States. Throughout her fellowship, Ddegeya became a home, and Engeye became a family. She hopes to remain as connected as possible through involvement in the committees. Amy will be attending graduate school next year at the London School of Economics in pursuit of a Masters in Health and International Development.
