Engeye is pleased to announce that Tushabe Innocent has been hired for the new role of Clinical Program Manager.

Those who have been long-time Engeye friends will remember Tushabe from her days as our lead clinical officer. After briefly leaving Engeye for a training opportunity in late 2012, she is thankful to return to the clinic and community she has served since initially joining the Engeye team in 2010.

With a passion for public health and health systems management, Tushabe took the lead in coordinating the VHT’s (Village Health Teams) outreach program, which focuses on continuing education and trainings at the clinic. Other duties include reporting health and management data to the Ugandan Ministry of Health, clinical oversight, inter-organizational partnerships, and coordination of U.S. – Uganda medical teams and joint projects.

Tushabe is an invaluable part of the team and we look forward to her playing a leading role in the continued expansion of our clinical programs in Uganda. Welcome home, Tushabe!
