Mikael is an Albany Medical College alumnus who connected with Engeye by taking on the role of lead physician for a team trip in 2013. He and his family have been active supporters of our work and the Ddegeya community since that time; in all, Mikael has enjoy 3 trips to Uganda. He previously served as Medical Director and continues as a consultant, drawing on nearly 20 years of experience practicing rural Family Medicine.
