Sarah graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Sociology and Economics. She was a Union College Minerva Fellow at Engeye in 2010. During Sarah’s fellowship, she worked at Engeye Health Clinic and taught at St. Gertrude Primary School. In 2014, she had the opportunity to return to Ddegeya and work on various Scholars initiatives and the Engeye Artisans Project. She has been a member of the Scholars Committee since 2012. Sarah worked at the children’s advocacy organization Westchester Children’s Association for five years. She now lives in the metro DC area and works in public policy at United Way Worldwide.
