Creation and Innovation Development Program
Creation and Innovation Development Program
Former Engeye Scholar and now teacher Hamzah developed and led the inaugural session of the Creation and Innovation Development Program. This initiative aims to equip students and community members with practical knowledge, skills, and abilities to create materials for home and commercial purposes. The program will also provide economic opportunities while addressing critical needs like sanitation, personal hygiene, and skill-based job creation.
Hamzah in conjunction with the Engeye Scholars Committee and John Kalule decided an apt first project would be bar soap making! Both Engeye Scholars and Learners gathered to first learn about the soap making process and then were able to work together to create and package over 40 bars of soap!
