Why are you choosing to support Engeye through the Climb for Good?
David: I’ve known about Engeye since my niece Sarah Yergeau did an internship there and then stayed involved. A couple of years ago my son Sam Cook, who is a young family medicine doctor, was able to be on a team visiting Engeye. I am impressed with the significant impact Engeye is making to provide health care and teach those in the community and region, and I’d like to help support those efforts. The climb of Mount Kilimanjaro seems a great way to draw attention to Engeye and also to challenge myself physically and mentally to join with Sam and others for a memorable adventure!
Sam: I have long heard of the great things happening at Engeye through involved family and friends. In 2024, I was able to experience this firsthand and meet the dedicated humans working on location in Uganda. I have since looked forward to deepening my involvement and support for this incredible organization.
